Site terms

These terms explain what SIA Ireland provides, how the information may be used and the limits of this personal, non-commercial project.

Who operates this site

SIA Ireland is a personal, non-commercial project operated and published by Robert Gloster. It does not sell products or services and carries no paid advertising, sponsorship, affiliate links, referral arrangements or paid provider listings.

What SIA Ireland provides

SIA Ireland is an educational information service about Ireland's proposed Investment Account. It is not a Government website, bank, broker or financial provider, and it does not provide personal financial advice.

Policy details are presented with their status, source and review date where those details matter. A proposal or an unanswered question is not presented as a final rule.

Accuracy, changes and availability

Reasonable care is taken to use current sources and describe their status accurately. The Investment Account is still being developed, so published information can become incomplete or out of date. SIA Ireland cannot promise that every page will always be complete, current or free from error. Check the source and last-checked date attached to an important claim before relying on it.

The methodology and correction record explain how sources are selected, reviewed and corrected.

Pages and tools may be corrected, updated, suspended or withdrawn as the project and the underlying policy change.

Calculator and educational examples

The investment-growth calculator is a general educational illustration. Its results are not a forecast, recommendation or assessment of whether investing is suitable for you. The calculator does not apply proposed Investment Account tax, eligibility, contribution or provider rules.

The assumptions and limitations shown beside the calculator form part of the example. Real investments can fall as well as rise.

External sources and links

Links to Government publications, news coverage and other sources are provided so readers can inspect the evidence. SIA Ireland does not control those websites. A link does not amount to an endorsement of a provider, organisation, product or opinion.

Copyright and reuse

You may link to SIA Ireland and quote short extracts with clear attribution. Ask before reproducing a substantial part of the site's original text or design. Third-party text, data, images, code and trade marks remain subject to their owners' rights and licence terms.

Changes to these terms

These terms apply from 1 September 2026. They may be updated as the project changes. A new effective date will be shown here when a material change is published. Irish law applies, subject to any mandatory rights and remedies that apply to you.
